The Great Wall of China is one of the longest structure, as it stretches 13,171 miles while walking it can range to 17 months to little over a year to finish the strip of great wall which later to be proved wrong as it blends with the landscape and it's too narrow. It is also was stated Where allegedly it can be seen through space. The materials that they had were made out of earth and wood. Later on was added in as bricks and stone. Specifically granite, limestone, and kiln-fired bricks. Though they also made their own motar.
As it stands as one of the 7 wonders. It's useful during the Ming Dynasty. As it's was there intended for military purposes and for trading routes otbe kept and maintain for it's order. However, one of the sigifigant events with the Great Wall of China. Would be the fact that it was used to keep the Mongols out of China. Though it was not fully successful as they were able to breach through the wall and invade China but still held strong. Although, Disney was inspired to make Mulan based on the legend of Hua Mulan who disguised herself as a man.
